河野大臣は昨年来、日本人名の公的な英語表記を「姓名」の順序にすべきだと主張しています。新しい内閣のもと行政改革相となった河野太郎氏。改めて、日本人名の英語表記の「姓名」の順序への改革を推し進めるのではないかと思われているようです。昨年の提言は令和への元号改革に合わせての動きだったと思いますが、その後、進展はあったのでしょうか。
